Crushing It Chronically

Designing a life around chronic conditions…and crushing it!

CiC is owned and operated by a multi-passionate, multi-chronic, multi-business owner and corporate escapee, Caitlin. You can read more about her life and experience here. In short, she does branding and design specifically for clients in the Outdoors Industry and she teaches all she knows about business and the backend of brand and design here in CiC for those wanting to earn an income despite traditional jobs not fitting the health needs of those with chronic conditions.

Our goal is to help you design your business around your chronic condition so that you can do what you love, earn an income, and not sacrifice your health doing it.

Some quotes we work by:

Failure is not an attempt unaccomplished. Failure is an accomplishment never attempted.

Colossians 3:23 – Whatever you do, work at it with all of your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters…

Be sure to check out the ‘Resources’ pages where we share products, services, and other accounts that we recommend ourselves and by others within the chronic community!

I share snapshots of an active life with chronic illness, designs for my outdoors industry clients, and all of the outdoor hobbies my husband and I are into…

A little bit of what I love & don't love

did we just become best friends?

I am a creative at heart, but I’m also attentive and passionate about data and analytics- so I geek out over creative and organization things. I got my start making planners for students, business owners, mama’s, and chronic illness warriors. Here’s some things I’m into as a chronic entrepreneur:

  • productive business and life frameworks and workflows
  • planners…blending business, health, and personal organized in one place
  • workflows and systems. It excited me to set up Dubsado to better serve my clients and give me a better return on energy spent
  • branding and website design that converts audiences to customers
  • creating all the things I need in business as a chronic entrepreneur; i.e./checklists, pdfs, templates, brand guides, logos, brochures, workbooks, etc. and sharing them of course!

Establishing a business can arguably be one of the most difficult tasks, especially when you aren’t quite sure what to do and when to do it. But getting started shouldn’t be overwhelming or downright stressful either!

I feel like entrepreneurship takes the same level of grit and tenacity we have to develop when living with chronic conditions. My thought is if I can handle my health, I can start and run a business lol.
