A little about me…

“You look normal.” I don’t take offense to that statement because I do look normal, but my story falls further from that label than my family would have hoped.

“Interesting” is what my medical case studies are labeled with. Born a preemie, blood clots, tumors, and a bunch of different diagnoses the first 30 years of my life have created who I am and how I view life.

But in the chaos there’s always beauty somewhere. The resilence my side kicks forced me to grow into led me to becoming a multi-passionate, multi-business owner finding therapy in the outdoors and peace in simplicity. I found a passion for brand and website design, creative direction, and it brought back my childhood love for shooting sports and being active outdoors.

I wouldn’t change a thing.

Passion for the Outdoors

I grew up on a dead end dirt road in the middle of nowhere doing all the things rural county kids do. My dad was the leader of the local 4-H Shooting Sports Club where I held leadership roles, competed at National level, and eventually became certified to instruct youth.

Flash forward to the married life and multiple health scares, we would escape to the woods for peace and quiet, to reflect, connect, and sit with God.

Eventually as my health improved, we got involved in competing again. My husband and I have owned and operated a firearms and outdoors business, Cross Point Tactical LLC, for over 8 years and I found myself helping other outdoors business owners with their branding and websites.

After 5 years in the marketing industry for a destination, specifically the brand and website side, I began taking on my own clients and we officially organized Outdoors 34 Design Co that is quickly growing into a quaint brand and website design agency. Here’s some of what we do….
